COACH<\/span><\/h4>

Coach Michael
<\/b>Coach Michael has lived in Texas his whole life. His passion for swimming started over ten years ago and he\u2019s been on many competitive teams such as Nitro, Waterloo, Aquatex, as well as the Round Rock high school swim team. He\u2019s been a swim coach since 2020 and has enjoyed every second of it! Taking 7 of the 14 swimmers of the LVA Tidalwaves that qualified for State to Corpus Christi was a particular highlight of the 2022 season.<\/p>

In addition to coaching for Lago Vista Aquatics, he also coaches the Homeschool Hurricanes swim team year round at the Twin Lakes YMCA. Coach Michael is able to offer LVA more than excellent swim coaching as he\u2019s also an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and can provide accurate, healthy dry-land workouts to build stronger swimmers. During the off-season Coach Michael is a full-time college student.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Swim Mentor<\/span><\/h4>

Corinn<\/b>
The first time I realized I loved the water was when I was 6 months old, learning water safety at Emler Swim School. I started with Lago Vista Aquatics before I could swim across the pool because the coach at the time was also the swim instructor. It took a few years before I found my competitive bug but have loved every moment in the water. My strongest event is the Individual Medley and I look forward to teaching new swimmers on the team all four strokes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I am so excited to teach again this year! I have been a part of the Lago Vista Aquatics Tidal Waves for over 7 years and have been mentoring new swimmers since 2021. Besides swimming, I also have a love for theatre and have been cast in many productions put on by Lake Travis Music Theatre and Rising Stars. My first foray into swimming was when I was 6 months old, learning basic water safety and survival at Emler Swim School. I began swimming with Lago Vista Aquatics in 2015. After four years of swimming competitively, I began assisting our Head Coach with the instruction of all 4 swim strokes to our younger teammates.
