\"\ud83d\uded1\"Tryouts are\u00a0required<\/strong> for new swimmers before registration can be completed. Every swim team member needs to be able to swim 25 yards without stopping or touching the bottom since some of the pools we compete at are more than 5 feet deep the entire length of the pool.\"\ud83d\uded1\"<\/p>\n

Swim team practice will be from 7:00 pm \u2013 9:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from June 1st through July 30th. The younger & newer swimmers will start at 7:00 pm and swim until 8:00 pm. The more experienced swimmers able to swim freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly will start practice at 7:30 pm and swim until 9:00 pm. Coach Michael or Coach Bryan will sort the swimmers into their appropriate groups after the evaluation swim.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Registration is $150 per child paid either online or by check written to the YMCA. There is also a 4.95% fee (less than $8 per swimmer) to use the online swim meet & time tracking system.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Because we are swimming under the YMCA umbrella, there will be a YMCA PDF form emailed to you to after completing the online registration. This form needs to be completed and will be due before your swimmer begins practice. Payment can be made online or in person. In-person payments can be cash or a check made out to YMCA.<\/p>\n

Every swim team member will receive a free team shirt. During registration, there is an option to purchase additional shirts as well as Lago Vista Aquatics team swim caps.<\/p>\n
