Lago Vista Aquatics Swim Team registration for 2021 is currently open for existing LVA swim team members. Log in to your account using your active credentials.
Tryouts are required for new swimmers before registration can be completed. Every swim team member needs to be able to swim 25 yards without stopping or touching the bottom since some of the pools we compete at are more than 5 feet deep the entire length of the pool.
Swim team practice will be from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from June 1st through July 30th. The younger & newer swimmers will start at 7:00 pm and swim until 8:00 pm. The more experienced swimmers able to swim freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly will start practice at 7:30 pm and swim until 9:00 pm. Coach Michael or Coach Bryan will sort the swimmers into their appropriate groups after the evaluation swim.
Registration is $150 per child paid either online or by check written to the YMCA. There is also a 4.95% fee (less than $8 per swimmer) to use the online swim meet & time tracking system.
Because we are swimming under the YMCA umbrella, there will be a YMCA PDF form emailed to you to after completing the online registration. This form needs to be completed and will be due before your swimmer begins practice. Payment can be made online or in person. In-person payments can be cash or a check made out to YMCA.
Every swim team member will receive a free team shirt. During registration, there is an option to purchase additional shirts as well as Lago Vista Aquatics team swim caps.

Lago Vista Aquatics swim team registration is now open!
Swim team practice will be from 7-9 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from June 5th through July 26th at the Lago Vista City Pool (8039 Bar K Ranch Road). We currently plan to have 2 meets and 1 time trial. (See more on the calendar.)
2018 Registration is $150 per child. Children who are new to the program can try out the first week of practice before registering. It’s not necessary to know particular strokes, just be able to swim 25 yards (from one end of the pool to the other) to participate.
Given some new expenses, such as liability insurance and increased lifeguard costs, registration won’t cover everything, so we are looking for sponsors, as well.

The contract from the City of Lago Vista and the quote for the lifeguards have both been signed & sent back to their proper people. Just waiting on finalization of the process. Also, looking into the required (by the City of Lago Vista) liability insurance.
